Had good results in Weipa using Tsunami 4inch swim shads in Chartreuse/silver,Using a very slow retrieve.

The squidgy fish are hard to beat, rig on a jighead for open water or snagless with the hook point buried on large worm hooks. Can be swum into heavy snags or thick weed with virtually no worries. Use a small sinker on the underside of your loop knot if you need extra distance. All sizes are great, it can be hard to get worm hooks to fit the larger 130 and 150mm squidgy fish. No need for much rodwork, they go good just on a slow retrieve. I like the fish more than the slick rigs, the action is even better.
If prawns are around the powerbait shrimps in the large sizes are really good, slow retrieve, subtle flicks, watch the line carefully as fish will pick them up gently at times.
cheers, kev
