Today at the Pin

Hey guys just posting a report today from the pin. Just got the new boat so we have been giving her a good flogging got in a late start and fished around short Island and upper reaches of cooby passage. Got a few good fish on the change of the tide and we ended up boating 10 descent fish mostly breambo's, moses perch and sweetlip. One good bream amongst them went 35cm. Plenty of weed out there at the moment though which was a bit annoying.

huummmm...clear water and weed doesn't make a good mix.
i have a club trip next weekend down at the pin and already losing interest.
all the money you spend on fuel, bait, etc and have to battle the weed.
oh well..better still go, just makes it hard to catch a decent feed

Hey mate we definately need some rain to flush the system out for sure. Just a note if you end up goin look for some deeper water we fished a nice hole about 10m deep that produced the goods. Just anchor and berley up and cast back into the edge of the drop off heaps of fish on the sounder. Hope that helps

You weren't wrong about the weed. Using plastics down there today and, in some spots, it was a full hook/jighead of weed every cast :( Hope the weed clears soon...
