With my fishing trips of late being more like boating trips,I grabbed the neighbour and went out chasing a few muddies last night,we ended up with only 3 muddies and 2 sandies, but at least it was nice for a change to bring home a feed, cheers Snas

Nice feed there Snas. Good to see there's still the odd crab about despite the cold.

Thanks Freeedom,to be honest I buggered up the moon phases and had the pots in 2 days to late, I think if id had my act together a bit better we would have nailed a few more,we got a heap of really really big jennys, and it was good to see the large amount of small bucks that we also caught ,dozens of them ,lets hope for a season just as good as the last, cheers snas

They look good mate Well done. I have been toying with the same idea about dropping some pots in the Pine. Might just have to get in and do it.

Not in the slightest inclined to drop a pot in... Allergic to Mud Crab can you believe! Even the smell of a muddie makes me want to be sick...
Still, if you like crab, then go for it - my 2 brothers are crab hogs!! Which actually reminds me of a funny story! My little bro Willy brought home this mother of a muddie and chucked it in a milk crate in the laundry for the night. Dad came home late from the restuarant (like 2am in the morning) and sat down at the dining table to eat and watch a bit of telly. While he's sitting there, he hears these slight 'clanks'. Thinking that he's just dead tired :-/ , he ignores it. Then out of the corner of his eye, he thinks he sees this milk crate moving slowly down the hallway :o. Again, just rubs his eyes and keeps watching telly . Then another load clank as the moving milk crate knocks over something that mum had resting against the staircase. By this time, dad knows he's not imagining things and gets up to investigate. Sure as hell, there's this milk crate slowly moving down the hallway as he thought he'd seen! Grabs the broom handle and lifts the milk crate up to see this huge muddie staring at him - he could have killed Willy >:( ! The muddie had flipped the crate over itself trying to escape and that's how it all began! Needless to say, dad ended up eating it as compensation for his suffering - much to my bro's displeasure :'( !
