Never used them but it looks like 'Cara' make everything from fishing rods to MIG welders (what I was looking at) and are cheap. I think 'you get what you pay for' might be a good thing to remember here. I'm going to save up for something decent myself. But ifs its only a cheap fishing rod, might be worth a try though.

havent had a chance to use it yet, but looks a little cheap, maybe ok for the bay but not outside

I have seen these rods for 20 bucks you could afford to experiment with them. If the guides are no good you could replace them. My question for Mike is the only concern about these rods.

Mike what is the working curve like? Is the tip to stiff?

spend a bit more money and get yourself a decent rod instead of throwing away $20-30 on a rod thats not up to scratch. Just my opinion

I agree with Mariner. I have never been happy with a cheap rod. Of course I have some expensive rods I am not happy with either, but the rods I own that I really love are not cheap rods.
Good Luck!
