Shimano Catana 2500Fa

hi all my mate just gave me an unwanted reel Shimano Catana 2500Fa eggbeater, brand new as he doesn't like fishing.just wondering what type of rod & line would go with this reel? and what exactly is this reel meant for? eg estuary etc?
feedback would be much appreciated:)

Got mine married to a shimano catana estuary spin 3 - 5kg loaded with 8lb braid. Bit too heavy for using with placcies, but ok for bait fishing. I use the 1000f on my placcy rod which is a catana also.

Relatively cheap combos, without performing like some other crap.............yes, I like 'em.

I don't think there's too many 2500's about mate. The only place I know sells 'em is the Mart and ebay and I don't think the Mart stocks 'em now. I've got a feeling that name was put on 'em for the mart and they're actually sold under another (something name) 2500.
