Hi All

I'm buying a boat that comes on a Redco RE170-MO trailer with 13" wheels, the trailer has no spare.

I want to buy a second hand spare for the trailer, can you guys help me with

1. What sort of stud pattern the trailer spare requires and
2. Where in the Brisbane area could I buy a used spare

Although I'm in Yeppoon I get to Brisbane regularly.

Thanks in advance for your help

Cheers
Allan

Hi Allan

The Redco stud pattern is a HT. As for spare this is difficult because it will depend on the current Tyre size (there are a number of 13" tyre sizes) and load rating. I ended up binning my standard Redco tyres and got 3 matching light truck tyres with a greater load rating.

Try Active Fabrications at Beenleigh - I reckon you'll have no trouble matching what you have.

Beaurepairs in Rocky will do a good on a brand newey

Or if you are not worried about matching the desaign you will get a 13 galv torana wheel from Rockhamton Auto Spares on denison and derby/william street for about $60.00 plus tyre

yapoon I had the same problem in November ended up buying a new wheel and tyre from bob janes . got it at trade as I send them a bit of work . I tried the wreckers in brissy and even got it put out in the wreckers hot line to no avail .
good luck in locating a second hand wheel . the wheel patern should be a holden HT five stud .
