G'Day all,

Were looking to purchase a new aluminium bowrider in the 4.8mtr size, dont want to go above that as space is an issue, nor below it as need min 90hp to ski.

Ive had a Quintrex and a heap of problems,

I have a small stacer which is good for fishing, but dont feel at all comfortable spending another $30k+ with telwater, they are good for small tinnies but thats about it in my book.

I've looked at Blue fin, but too big, no 480 size.

Ally craft........ so so but hard to get engine combination

Savage too big, no 480

TABS too big, no 480

Can anyone point me in direction of a good manufacturer who has a track record, does a 480.

Looking to put a 90 or 115 etec on it, so dealer needs to deal with Evinrude.

Any suggestions welcomed, NSW preferred but Gold Coast / QLD ok too, but wouldnt buy from other states, purely on distance issues.

Thanks

Ron

Formosa do a 4.8m bowrider. Check out Coastal Powerboats or Boatpoint site.

Horizon and 4 Seasons/Stessco all do around 4.8m bowriders also. All available from Marine Tune. I haven't checked out build quality of these.

Mate could write a book on it, pm me if you are really interested, prob best not to post publically here, could be legal issues.

Get a glass boat..

If i didnt run in dams with the potential of submerged logs etc I prob would, ally is far less liable to damage in this way.
