Fuel consumption for SUZUKI DF 175

Hey all have just put on order a 6.3 metre plate alloy centre cab from
Seastorm boats. The boat will have a suzuki DF 175. i was wondering
if anyone has a similar size boat with the same motor could u let me know
what the fuel consumption of your boat is.

Hi

I have a 6.2 glass boat, 1150 kg, and get 1 mile / litre, can't quite get 1 naut mile / litre. Only 20 hours on the motor, so maybe it will loosen up a bit more

Fantastic motor, great power to weight ratio, which is really important when all that weight is hanging out the back of boat and so quiet that sometimes you have to look at the tacho to see if the motor is running.

Make sure you get a motor prop though (there are some threads about that aspect of this).

we hav a 6.8 metre glass and it weighs 3.5 tonne. We hav a 225 honda and its fuel economy is 1.2 letres per nautical mile..It should lossen up cause it news though....Hope this gav u an idea of weight of boat to motor size..
