Very interesting pic mate. How about telling us what they are?
I used to have a 6:1 Seascape and a Penn jigmaster years ago.
Looks like you might have one of them there.
cheers

Here's a good link for old i.d.ing old reels.
http://www.reelwidow.com/
I have a Lixall from the turn of the last century and a heap of old Alveys.
My favourite Alvey is one an old mate brought in 1954 and used it twice and then it sat in the cupboard until he gave it to me.
It's funny because you pull the big keeper ring up to twist the reel around. Just like an old V-notch system.
He even gave me the rod to match it. Lenny Butterworth's 15th rod that he numbered. It's a split cane beauty.

It's a bit depressing when you see so many Aussie manufacturers on the reelwidow site, and we only have Alvey left today.Must collect more old reels(done in Homer Simpson voice)

Pretty sure I've got one of those old sea streaks . Not usable though, probably good for parts.

My Dad used a Penn Squider off the rocks and beach then he bought a ABU 10000c. How do the old Squiders rate? I remember Dad getting a 6foot shark in off the rocks at little Narrabeen after a long battle!
I'm looking for a Penn 9/0 Senator, anyone know where one might be.

Accurate or Tiburon used to make the plates, frames and handles. Can still get them on the big auction site. They are not cheap, but they create something pretty special that should last a very long time.
This is one of mine you may like ,

I've got some Penn Delmar 285 reels that are tough no rot reels, good for handling heavy weights associated with 'bottom bouncing' with a low gear ratio and I've also got some of the older Penn Longbeach 65 reels that are also gutsy.
Two ABU 12 reels that are in excellent used condition, unfished since purchase but hope to change that this season coming.
I've also got a ABU 10000C - bought new originally in 1986 by previous owner and NEVER fished, just stored lovingly as part of a serious collection...beautiful indeed.Part of the reason I bought it was because my now deceased mate had 2 of these and alongside me he used them while I used the ABU 12s (previous ones, not present ones) to fish the Ninety Mile Beach here in VIC.I don't think I'd part with this reel for even $10,000 and I may never use it but I'm hoping to eventually??:-/ :) such quality and so many memories!!!!

About the Seascapes,my deceased mate had some and they had bluing on the right hand side from heat due to big snapper caught from the shore at Long Point near Loch Sport on the NMB.It's now a flamin' resort/holiday camp where you can still fish but I don't think the jokers that own it realise just how many memories it holds to many people.Amazing the way access gets locked out by the few, under the guise of 'conservation',only to be opened up by bastards that stand to make a quid...especially if it's to a certain group of clientele - usually not the traditional users ie recreational fishers.Apparently we don't have a coonection with the land..wank...wank..Discrimination is rampant and must be corrected.
My rant!

Rando, Ebay US, sporting goods, fishing, reels, vintage is a great pictorial and price guide.
Decide from there what brand, country of origin, basic design you like, then google up.
If you buy these old buggas to use, like I do, the line roller is prob the most critical thing. If you buy mint, or new in box, can be very good value compared to what you get for the same $ today, although some iconic reels fetch a premium due to collector pressure.
Warning, old reels can be addictive!
Cheers and enjoy!.
