Hey,

Have had the run around before from a few of the bigger stainless companies after doing work on the boat and charging like a wounded bull. What i am asking is does anyone have some names of a well priced stainless business that can do a couple of smallish jobs on our boat.

We need to move our solar panel, approx 1,5 m x .8 m to on top of the rear canopy. All that is needed is two horizontal stainless rails welded on to the existing canopy stainless to support the panel.

thanks in advance

cheers

Lots of metal tradies are working the Mines, the ones who stay are so busy they can quote what the jobs worth to them, rather than competitively to beat the other guy.
You can't blame them, but it's how it is.
If you find a master tradesman who will spend three hours discussing & designing your job, then do it for Nix, You and he will be very popular guys.
Considered DIY? I havn't done any myself, but it all looks pretty modular.
