Went out in the Bohle again to fish the coming in tide on Saturday afternoon hopefully to get some grunter on yabbies, also put a few crabpots in using fish frames/heads from a previous trip.
The larger grunter weren't on the bite, but it seemed like i was catching the same fish over and over about 20 grunter all just under legal size, it was starting to give me the shits, so I moved down to the mouth of the river after some winter whiting, again with live yabbies for bait.
I coulden't get my line in fast enough without getting absolutely picked to peices by small bream and grunter, though eventually the whiting got in first and I ended up with a nice feed or 2.
As for the crab pots we got 3 nice, big, ful bucks to chuick in the pot when we got home, though we probably would've had more if some lowlifedidn't cut the bottom out of one of our pots to raid it, I can hardly believe the crap some people get up to in this place.
All in all a reasonably productive fishing trip, and a lot of fun had by all. Hoping to go out again this Saturday really early in the morning to fish the morning high tide.
