Not a bad couple of efforts at all. I have not gone hunting for trevs for a very long time now and often wonder why I don't pull the finger out and go fishing for them again. Your thread certainly is very motivational. Top stuff!

Good to see u r getting amongst them shin. They sure are heaps of fun.
Hi all,
Well went to the seaway early this morning after being inspired by this thread and cast slugs out for about three hours from 6:30am onwards. Didn't have one bite... What am I doing wrong? When you say that you 'just need to find them' how do you know where they are? I cast from what i would call a similar spot to where shin25 was (based on photo's) and then after a couple hours of nothing went over to the otherside to cast into the break. Still no luck.
I'm really keen to catch something on slugs but after many weeks of nothing i'm starting to wonder if i should give up on them completely and just go with bait?
Could someone please lay some light on my disappointment?

You should have seen some being caught there Raol at that time. Just go to where everyone else is casting and catching but try not to get line tangled up with everyone else. Also try different retrieves, like stop start, let lure sink then vary retieve. As shin says dont give up. You will never wanna use hook line and sinker again one you get your first hook up.
