hey all looking at heading out friday for a few flicks around da brizzy river before heading up to yeppoon on saturday for a soccer tournament... usually we r out at peel or mud or the lyk but it looks lyk it could get rough so the river the looks the better option. just wondering anywhere in particular that holds gud bream and even a half decent squire. i heard about pinkaeba wall and also the pylons up the mouth.
are u aloud to fish under tthose pylons?
any help wud be much appriciated

There is supposed to be an exclusion zone round the wharf pylons, i think its 30 metres. Try the long rock wall on the northern side, you cant miss it at Pinkenba.
Or the reclamation pond wall at the mouth, southern side as you head out. Both hold good fish.

Don't know whaTsize boat you have but parts of the river can still get pretty rough on a decent westerly . I wouldn;t try fishing under the any wharves . they;ll be on to you for sure 30 metres from any wharf is fairly rule of thumb but sometimes that changes depending on who approaches you. Don't hold your breath on squire at the momment, have a friend who works and fishes daily on the river and it has shut down. If it were me I;d fish for bream from pinkebar wall to the gateway bridge area Good luck
