Hit the river again this afternoon and had absolutely magic conditions.
Not a breath of wind and the river was like glass.......Only one other bloke fishing.
I got down a bit earlier today but the fish only came on the bite around 5pm and lasted through till dark.
First fish I hooked was a nice queenie which jumped about 6 times and managed to throw the hook right beside my feet......::)
Finished up landing 3 other small GT's but as always great fun on the light gear.

Hey Jeff,

Yeah the queenie would have been maybe 1.5kg.....no reel big so I wasnt that fussed.

Abbot.....Yeah I fish most arvos....but like to mix it around a bit.
When the river is quiet I have found it can be REAL quiet.
Tomorra I might hit the beach.

Geoff.....Yes SP's again.....I tend to favour them when the fish are a bit fussy.
The guy in the boat was throwing small poppers and slugs and got zippo....:-/
