Straddie Barge Ramp

I was waiting for the barge at Dunwich on Sunday & I couldn't help but take an interest in the locals fishing the jetty & ramp. They were throwing bait & plastics at the pillars. It was 10 am, high tide & the Trev's came on. Some poor bloke beside me got smoked a couple of times flicking plastics off the ramp. Poor bloke had very little chance of stopping them in that terrain.

It was top entertainment watching the families/kids/dads having fun & catching some very decent fish. Beautiful conditions & I've learnt a lesson to have a rod/combo ready to go at all times. Next time!!!!

If i'm over there at night in the boat i fish round there always trying round the pylons from the ramp and on the south side

2nd note to self - buy a cheapie 2 piece and leave in the car.
