Thought it was about time i took Kirsten out for her first overnight winter bream session down the Pin.

After making sure there were plenty of warm clothes packed we were off.Had the boat in the water by midday Sat.Stopped on the way out to pump some yabbies then off to my spot X.Tide was still running pretty hard " don't worry darl' wait till the tide slows" Yeah right.Next time just shut your mouth Daz
Tide slowed and nothing not a ffffffing bite.As stubborn as i am we stayed put and still bugger all 1 ray,1catfish,2 eels,1just legal bream.
Time to sit back and enjoy the sunset.

Took the fillets off the bream and catty (don't knock 'em till you try 'em) and had a feed.
Time to hit the sack and try the morning run.

Still nothing.Sweet F all

Moved down to Kalinga Bank with not a great deal of action there either then across to Caruso. Finally some decent bites.Plenty of throw backs that kept Kirsten interested including this lizard that i landed.
This old girl was sent back to make plenty more like her.Measured 76 cm.

Moved around a bit with not much luck until my last try before heading in.Ended up with 6 bream and 2 flounder and countless unders in about 2 hrs.Wish it had been like this from the start of the trip
Back to the ramp just on dark Sun arvo.

The 3 of us slept in the boat and yes it was a tad chilly in the early hours of Sun morning. At one stage i thought i had a couple of golf balls caught in my throat then i realised they were some other balls.
