Camping was out for me due to timing but here are a couple of pics I took at Mount Hotham in the Victorian Alps.
Skiers were out in force.
Zero degrees out but 25 degrees in the car and a snow storm just as I arrived. Road was clear and no need for chains although you are required to have them onboard. The little Suzuki took it all in it's stride.

I was ' around the traps ' Derek, but on my way back form there I was following a ' Camel camper " for a while. Thought you may have had a sneaky visit to the Sunshine State !!!!!
Cheers Phill

Wasn't me Phill but I do sometimes get a little homesick for the Sunshine State. I think I will always call Queensland Home.
Oh yeah, I am actually planning on camping in the snow this winter. :o :o

I was on Moreton from Friday to Monday. Great weather except for blustery westerlies on Friday/Saturday. Good fishing - plenty of dart. No tailor, except one that I didn't manage to land.

I stayed home and watched the annual Cabarita Tailor Fishing comp. Absolute monsters were caught!

Hitched up the boat, dragged it to Ballina on the Thursday night, watched it blow a gale on Fri and Sat and felt almost as cold as those photos looked. Went for a fish in the river on Sunday with no luck. Hitched up the boat and dragged it home again Monday.
Still, it was better than sitting at home.
