shimano t curve

hey saw a shimano t curve for $50 last night and it caught my eye, just asking before i buy what people think, its the 1-3kg 701 model, but looks nice and strong with a good tip, anyone own one or reccomend them?

B_E_N, the rod isn't a T-Curve:( , I can't remember the model [not in catalog] but it is a $49.95 entry level rod. I too was wishfull thinking!!!:'(

What was wrong with it:o These are pretty good rods that sell for around $200+. I've got an XL & 701 that i'm using for my bream fishing (HBs & SPs) ..... For $50 .... gotta buy it! ..... Nagg

yeh your right i didnt pick up on the sss, but still couldnt help myself, put 2 on layby- one for me one for the gf

I think the 7ft SSS is great rod for throwing Sp's with & my BC SSS loaded up nicely with nice jewie i caught..

yeh a mate of mine has a heavier bc sss and loves it, nice rods for the price IMO

good first rod for the gf aswell, a dam side better than my first rod

B_E_N, I wish they had rods like that when I started fishing:( , make sure you get a fish before the gf otherwise you will never hear the end of it:-[ ;) .
