I've asked this question before but didn't seem to get an appropriate answer.

When you post and get involved in a thread, is there any way that a symbol could appear on the thread line to denote that you are actually involved in this particular thread.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did this used to happen?

Is it my settings or is everyone the same?

I don't want to have to go to the Subscribed Threads list every time to see what threads I'm in. If it appeared on the thread line, you could just go to a particular forum and see the thread you are involved in.

Im pretty sure a little arrow appears on the letter/mail looking icon next to the thread, when you have a post in that thread...

I swear ive seen it.

Please anyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, i'm only relatively new. I thought the little bent arrow thing (picture below) ment that you have a posted in a thread.
