Tweed Queenie

G'day all,
I had been following the debate regarding Ashh's queenfish last week closely. Anyways today down on the Tweed my girlfriend caught this feisty little fella...definitely looks like a queenie to me judging by the upward facing protruding bottom jaw. It was a sensational day to be out on the river, and the sunset over the Goldie was awesome!

that looks identical to the one I caught, except I cant see the little black spikes on its back like mine had (maybe they folded down? or different variant again?)
but at least you can see the jaws in your pic ;)

just did a quick comparison to ashh queenie,there are a few differences between them but still very similar,must be a few different species. nice catch tho,well done.
