Help Needed - Trevally/Mangrove Jack

I have a few months before I jet off to Finland for a few years and there are a few fish I want to tick off my "want to catch" list before I go...I've gladly crossed off Jew....but my next target/s are : - Trevally and Mangrove Jack.

Anyone got any spots/advice etc on the sunny coast as to where I could get trevally? Has to be land-based as I am boatless :(

Any help would be appreciated on either trevally or Mangrove jack.

Mike,
You're always a chance to get a Trevally anywhere landbased at Noosa.
Try Munna Point, Woods Bay, Charles Street, Noosa Harbour, Harbours and Marine area, the National Park headlands, the Middle Groyne, the Sheraton area.
The list goes on.
Use your imagination, find a likely looking spot and start throwing!;)
