Just wondering if anyone catches or targets black jew in the inlet? Iwent there on the weekend for the first time to water test a boat it looked very similar to some of the estuarys that i have fished in the territory.I didnt get to check it out on the sounder but i,me sure that there would have to be some deeper holes in the system worth a shot,any info welcome. Hi Dan for whatever reason I have never heard of one being caught in the estuary but I am way at the wrong end of the authority scale on these things. Would be interested to hear if anyone knows more.

I have caught a few small ones (around 50cm) jigging sp in deep water while trying for fingermark.
