Yeah mate, that's why I gaffed it, the deckie loves the flavour, and,.............they ain't so harmless. Even though they've little teeth, at that size they'd break your finger easy if you're not careful when removing hook. Also, (look at it's spine) if you try to tail 'em, those spines down their back can saw straight through your foot or transom as you lift 'em in. There's some serious damage to the transom on my old rig. You should try to lift 'em in with the gaff, belly down, but they don't always play the game........hence the 4 gaff shots ::) ;D

I knew we'd fill the freezer which is why I tailed the shark as I wanted to return it. The deckie, (in her wisdom) ::) asked me to hang on to it whilst she got a photo ::) She can stick her camera next time ;D
