Update North Shore

Would appreciate any updates on whats biting between DIand the mouth of noosa river fishing there this fri-mon cheers and thanks in advance Adam;D ;D .

March flies.

Big ocean run bream, average whiting, the occasional flathead, no tailor seen / reported as yet.
And of course, as allways, dart dart & more dart.

The beach is in good condition, but the North end of Leisha track is deeply eroded - there are trees down to the waters edge that have fallen off the top of the dunes, so you will only get through to Rainbow no more than an hour either side of the low.
The North side of DI has now filled up with enough sand to get all the way to the rocks, and if you get sick of the wind on Teewah there are reports of good whiting in the lagoon that has formed there.
Don't get caught by the tide, or your there for a while.
Also don't park on the Leisha within 100m or so of the exit. The Parkies are issuing parking tickets.

Thanks for the report bob sounds like the trip will be worth it the young fella and missus like catching dart and they taste good fresh after a few cool ones;D ;D .Now just need the weather to play ball.

Blowin it's freckle out at the moment, hope you've invested in HD sand pegs for the tarp & tent.
Lots of good looking little gutters tho.
