Hey guys, Been a while since I have had a read of the board. The reason for this is I am in the process of moving my family to South Australia. Also sick of the craptacular fishing on the Gold Coast. Here is a pic of what can be had from my new hunting grounds :D

You have got to be happy with that, if that is what you can expect it sounds like you made the right move.

Had a few VB's with the vb man himself, to celebrate a good morning on the water.
Must say he is up there with the best anchour men i've been previledged to have on board. ;D Did his job admirably. Not one complaint.
Adding to that, he pulled in 2 large snapper of around 7-8 kilo, and another 2 of 40 cms + a good Whyalla morning.
P.S. vb4me.....just to let ya know, this is a snapper. 12 and a half kilo of thumping Red.
Your in the right spot anyway, We'll get ya one soon, then more VB's to celebrate. :P

I agree. Coopers is a nice drop, fantastic for beer batter. Trying to convert the bro in law. Somehow its not working.

yeah I use the pale for a beer batter, for some extra flavour i will take a 6 pack, pour all of the stubs in to a cold jug for drinking, but leave maybe 50 mls in the bottom of each stubby, then use all that sediment filled beer from each of the stubbies to make the batter. havent tried this with the sparkling yet though.
