Prawns - any still around??

Hi All,

Got the next week off;D, and I was wondering if there were any banana prawns still around the Logan area. Don't want to know where specifically, just want to know if its worth putting the boat in and giving it a go.

I went out with a friend wednesday off the bank at Sandy creek. Got 100+.
54 in one throw. medium sized around 110 to 130 mm coupla 150 cm in that mix. going out again early tomorrow. I'm guessing they're still around. The days are still warm. If you have a sounder try the pergola or Redland Bay channel.

That many in one throw? If I had even half that in the net, I wouldn't waste time counting the buggers..............I'd be too busy trying to get another quick chuck.

Well I thought they might regroup. Next throw 5 minutes later hauled a fat zilch.
Got 2kgs saturday early, in 3hours.
only 1kg today in the same time.
