help finding camp/fish spots in townsville

Gday every one, looking for some camping and fishing spots around townsville were it is quiet and a small fire is alowed. Any idears would be great.

Hi Barbs,
If you have a boat, go take a look at Morrisseys Creek. There are a couple of good spots there, high banks etc.

hi barbs, personally i enjoy insulator creek which is just 10 minutes north of rollingstone, although a 4wd is required to access the creek, it is away from all the interuptions and u can have a decent sized fire there, excellent spot to stay and cattle creek is only a 5 minute boat trip up next to the beach..
