are threadys pelagics? just wondering and also are pelagics just fish that live in the open ocean and bays like makeral and marline etc. thanks

I dragged the definition out of the dictionary
1.of or pertaining to the open seas or oceans.
2.living or growing at or near the surface of the ocean, far from land, as certain organisms.

google the word pelagic and click on wikipedia-refers to open ocean or sea that is not near the coast or sea floor.threadies are tassel fish ,the tassels aid in location of food,bottom dwellers, coastal/estuarine.in short no--surface feeders with no fixed address
