Caught this in the Paterson last session, behaved like a bass, sexperts reckon it is a Bass, Im unconvinced the red hue and scales have me on the back foot. Is it a mutant Carp?

the black line down its body tells its a bass it looks like its lived in clear water around the weeds

Looks like the Bass i used to pull out of the creek back in Yarraman. (Cooyar Creek) Definately looks like a bass to me.

No didnt put it back, didnt have a camera in the boat and wanted to get some shots with the grand kids who were with me that arvo.



It was the worst eating bass Ive ever encountered.
