These are made by Lamiglas as is the Texalium handle Tubing. I have been trying to find out where I can purchase the reel seats with no luck so far. The tubing I have found on the Mudhole site so maybe I should be asking them the question.
Quote from "Herbert Vinzant" maker of the rod you have posted a picture of. "Handle is Lamiglas"s new Texaluim handle material and their new "comfort" reel seat. The seat was designed for the small tubing however this one was modified to accommodate the larger tubing"
Hope this helps

That would be great Stu will talk to you about it at the RB. I must say I am curious on how you can get them made.
I also just got a reply back from Mudhole and they do have them.

here is the link to it on our web site. http://shop.mudhole.com/Shop-Our-Catalog/Graphite/AERO-Comfort-Grip-Graphite-Spinning-Seat (http://shop.mudhole.com/Shop-Our-Catalog/Graphite/AERO-Comfort-Grip-Graphite-Spinning-Seat) it is only available with silver hoods. It looks like someone just switched out the hood for a gold one.

Stu,
American Tackle, I am pretty sure they come in a non slip finish ( sort of a rubbery feel) and normal.
Just realised how old this post is and someone has already answer the maker.
