Hi

I am after some advice on spooling up my Millionaire SW 203. I am using it to chase barra's, kingies, jewies etc.

Should I spool up with Platypus Super Braid in 30lb or Platypus Super Braid in 50lb?

Ive got a dawai advantage spooled with 30lb braid atm so i was thinking i should get an outfit with 50lb braid on it as well.

Also what is the advantages of either lb?

Would having the 30lb or 50lb braid effect the drag capacity or anything else with the reel seeing that the recommendation is only up to 16lb line?

all advice is appreciated.

Oh yeah the reel is going onto a Daiwa Procyon 10-20lb 7ft Baitcasting Rod.

if fireline, 30lb will definitely be enough. with the right knots and good line condition, 30lbs will be nearly impossible to break with a 20lb 7' procyon.
actually, 10lb will be quite a weight to bend the rod nicely and u will find 15lb makes a terrible bend on the rod.
as well, since the drag capacity could be no more than 16lbs on the reel, there is no point using 50 if u are not gonna use the max drag on the reel and try to stop a 10-20 fish within the first minute of fighting.
