Calcutta 700 B For reef fishing

Gday. Thinking of getting a 700 B for reef fishing with 50 pound gelspun chasing reds trout ect.Will this reel handle this sort of treatment. Any advice would be appreciated.

Dave ... great choice! .... I use my 700 for deep water reef fishing (50lb braid) ... 8 years & still going strong 8-) NAGG

I have the 700 s and have found the drag a bit weak after a couple of years use going to get an erskin upgrade next service .8-) 8-) 8-)

I use 2 700's for bottom fishing with 50lb finns braid. Had no problems with them on coral trout up north and no problems with the level wind at all. I would like to beef up the drag also though as sometimes as tight as you can go is still not enough.
