Hit up the spot that geoff72 showed me on saturday morning feeling alot better than I was then. flicked a 40g slug around for half and hour with nothing. So deceided to put on a poppa (30g roosta). Within the second cast I was on and thought to myself this is a good fish. After bout 15mins got him in. Nice GT which went 65cm didn't have scales but felt bout 2 to 3kg. Cheers for showing me that spot geoff its a ripper.

hey gone that is an awesome fish. i hav been fishing the GC estuaries for GT's for about 5 months. my pb at the moment is 54cm. that fish would hav gone hard nice work mate.

Nice GT mate....Looking forward to my next encounter with a bigger GT.....Lots of 1kg fish here at Noosa at the moment.....The big ones seem a bit elusive at the moment.
