nothing on big tides

Townsville rock walls dissapointed this morning. Big tides but quiet on strip bait as well as live prawns and live mullett.

WEnt out to the Ross for a nice little flatty and GT. Plenty of run, plenty of bait. Probably head up to the northern beaches (wind and weather permitting) tomorrow, see if any winter species showing up yet.

I might persist at the rocks on tomorrows even bigger tide. The wind seems to be OK until about 8.30am.................just got back from bait collecting and have some nice plump live mullet for whatever is about.

How'd you go mate? Went up towards palleranda with nephew where that creek runs out, fished the outgoing tide this morning. Looked the goods, plenty of bait, plenty of run (of course). A couple of small things, nothing overly exciting, he had fun tho. Surprised there wasn't more about.
