Gday fellas
spent the last week fishing up round the caloundra end of the passage. Did quiete well considering the traffic!!:) First few morning trips proved fruitless but gradually the action started to pick up. We found a hole opposite bells and hit that pretty hard for a few good results. We caught cod to 40cm, bream to 32cm, small flatty, and the absolute highlight a nice 72cm school jewy:D and my best fish to date!! put up a hell of a fight on my lighter setup and caught on a big pilly fillet too !!!!

one afternoon i thought a bit of a flick was in order. So headed down to pelican waters bridge at the mouth of the canal there and had a throw with some light metals. Was there for maybe an hour catching two fish; a decent 40cm queenie which put up a nice fight with a couple of acrobatics and a 40cm GT and dont they go hard !!!!;D
all in all a great trip with a couple of decent fish as well!:)

I will have to show my Dad this thread!:D

He lives at Golden Beach too and was complaining to me about how bloody bored he is and how there are "no fish!" to be caught! I think he is just not trying hard enough!;)
