A recent trip to Point Hibbs....26 nm south of Strahan on Tassie`s West Coast....a beautiful , peaceful spot to camp and fish...There were 23 blokes on our trip ...2 fishing boats and 5 dingy`s....everyone caught there quote of crayfish and this will be turning into an annual event....
I not real sure about the amount of beer drank...but it was something like 3 barrels and twenty cartons...not everyone fished....alot of the oldies sat on shore drinking piss and feeding us who did go fishing....

Hey snelly,
can't help myself one pic shown your holding fish and notice the whipper engine on the board. I guess it's for crayfish pot puller right? Then it must be very deep huh!

Its a post hole digger motor...yep we fish sometimes with drop lines out in 280 fathom.....and even pulling cray pots or ring in 3-4 meters inshore...people say i getting lazy in my old age...i think i getting smarter....why bust your gut...just pull the trigger and away she goes....

Good on ya Mick,
Couldn't have weather like that while I was down, or a boat for that matter.
How's the new motor going?
Looks a great spot.
When I'm down next I might ask for a tour of it, with boat of course.
Good to see your back into it.
Say hi to the hugs and kisses for Jule and me.
Hows the little one going, has she got a rod yet?
