Personally I would not have posted that. You must be sick of Muddies by now.

Just a reminder they have a limit of 10.

Great results, but what do you do with 46 mud crabs? Are you growing nippers?

I only got half of that we were running 8 pots. With 5 in the family and some to the parents and inlaws and brothers and sister. I think giving the family a bit of a treat that they could not afford . Waiting on my mate to send the pics.

i can still read this post post in 2 different ways,,, and i have been avoiding what i think is the obvious question,,,

8 pots between 2 people is fine,,, but just how many crabs were kept as keepers/feeders were there in total,,, i look back and see 17 sandies and 46 muddies,,, and then you post that you only kept half

acknowledging that you stated some were empty and thrown back,,,,

either way,,, a great crabbing trip,,, similar to mine a few weeks back at my brothers place on the gold coast,,,, we ended up in 6 hrs with 60 plus muddies,,, and caught more on rod/reel than in the 3 pots we had in the water

unfortunately,,,, most were empty,,, and yes like yourself were returned,,, but the majority came home,,, i prefer sandies anyway

Here are some of the pics. Also 17 sandies 46 muddies were taken over 5 different pick ups. Not at anytime was more than the bag limit on board and once returned home they were cooked cleaned and meated.
