NOt gunna plaster up my "spot x's" on the net but there are literally about half a dozen wel know, consistent jew producers on the river
When you hire the boat, the oyster channel bridge is a good producer of school jew.
Anchor just upcurrent of it (not down as alot think), and drift either live baits or large shads near the pylons.
They dont have to be directly on it either, about 15-20 metres up stream there is a rocky reef that they feed on.
Live hering are easily caught under the bridge. If possible use mullet but i cant catch them so goodluck to you.
Also the middle wall, just upcurrent of either of the openings or the end on the bottom of the tide on dusk.
Night time attacks on the breakwall, keep baits in relatively close to the rocks, but not to close. Use fresh squid, blackfish, tialor, mullet, etc, or anything live, and you will either get jew or sharks.
If you are only getting shovelnose you're out to far.
gotta run, if you need anything else, just ask

Look for eddies around any of the walls on the river, focus on getting good live baits
