decided to hit a spot x this afternoon with Josh (gone),
at first we were a little concerned that it was a bit cold but luckily we managed to get one. heres a couple of pics,
cant wait to get another, i think im addicted :D

Nice Jack mate, Hoping it stays a little warmer myself as I will be in Noosa just after Easter chasing plenty of Red Fish.

great jacks mate,have caught jacks thru the colder months before so your spot x should be still going for ya. Fingers crossed.

Good catch on HB. Glad to hear theyre biting in the cooler weather, might be some left for me tonite. Thats a nice deep red color in the first pic.
Tonites tides look perfect for more jacks. Less run makes it easier for predators. High tide, low flow, right on sunset, no wind, yeehah.

nice work yella, at least the water is still really warm for a bit longer, although the ever looming cool is not far away.

thanks for the encouragment guys,
yeah i was stoked to get him on a hardbody. the one i lost at the bank last week was on a gulp so yeah was good to prove to myself that they do attack both.
he was released, you wont see any gc jacks on the table at my place, i would rather keep a bread and butter fish and keep the trophies swiming in the river. :)
