so when in doubt stike ;D
doing that woke this fish up and off it goes took me good 5mins to see what it was thought it was small jack foul hooked by the way it was fighting anyway another 5mins ive got a chunky 77cm lizard at my feet 78.5 on the brag matt lol;)

Onya shin, thats a good flatty, beats my best by 1 cm. Or should it be 2 cm, as I used a brag mat too? I enjoyed your post on the brag mats issue.
I find the natrual and honey prawnstars work well, and I cant get hits on the purple or lumo. Weird , huh? Im fishing at night tho, and your usually in the daylight, I see. Might be something in that, or it could just be fluke. Sometimes I lose a lure (purple) to a snag before its really been tested out, then I just go with what got hits last time (natrual).
Keep it up.

nah, havent been out since I took bluebeard for a fish 2 weeks ago. Had to put in some hours at home, or Id be single, lol. Got a new rig, itching to get out again. Will be out weds or thurs nite, as soon as this weather dies down.
I agree they slow right down after first light, but they will still bite. They just move to more covered spots. I pulled one under a pontoon at 9am, but cant get em in the more open spots.
I also find they bite more from sunset to 9pm.
cheers
