Has anyone had any luck fishing the right hand side of Wello? It seems that everytime we go out to wello every man is on the left hand side but no one on the right. I have given the right side a few goes but with no luck except for a flattie T1 got this weekend.

Any thoughts on the subject or is there just no fish on the right side for some strange reason :-/

Looks like nobody even cares about the right side of wello. Well I will just fish it by myself see how I go

Do you mean south of the leads or west of king island. If you mean south of the leads I have had more luck there then north of the leads, if you mean west of king island I haven't heard much of anything being caught there.

line up the leads and cleveland pt and run along there with your sounder there is a spot in there called ormiston rock. holds squire and sweetlip in the appropriate seasons, i used to find it via landmarks but its approximately 6m and halfway to cleveland

A Great place for XOS grassies if you are using small fresh bottle squid.
Like Vertico said it can be very productive at certain times of the year.
