Kayak session at Noosa 16-03-07

Hit the water today in the kayaks with Richard (tunapikus) to see what was happening in the bay.Heaps of tuna boils everywhere and tunapikus gave me a flogging!.......Wherever he was the longtails were....All I could find were schools of mack tuna that would do the bolt from me straight away.
Richard finished with three longtails 4.5kg to 7kg.....I got a zero...>:(
The closest I came was a big follow then a shy away at the last minute.....::)

I will be back next week for round two.

Looks like fun nice fish Tuna better luck next time pete. Do they drag you around much in the kayak's i'd imagine you'd get towed all over the place.

Well the little blokes that rich catches;) ;D dont drag you around much but the big fellas do....My PB took an hour and 15 min to land......My back has never been the same...;D
