no jacks this morn,:'( tide has moved on later in the morn, nut much bait around it was great while it lasted!!:D Still got nice 62-63cm lizard not quite as hard fighting fish but better than nothing. have 2 try spot x bit later in week at night!!!

Onya Bobby the spot is firing, if its where I think it is there are some howler bream there too !!

Good work Bobby, not a bad supplement for your usual morning jacks. I noticed it was the prawnstar that did the damage once again, do you know if Wilson still produce them? I have spoken to a few people and it looks like they arent making them anymore. :-/

As for the Giant Herring, yes I always seem to pick them up at night time and usually between the hours of 8-10pm regardless of the tide, but the do like a full or nearly full moon.

Just out of curiosity, it seems strange that where you fish there is no real structure, is the location near any man made devices?

still a top fish even though it's not a red one..

ahh.. it's been a while since i last landed a nice red or lizard.. gotta get out there more!

Good old prawn stars, gotta love em. Nice photo of the flathead in the water as well. What soft of rod are you using (length and line class?). The reason I ask is that I have a stradic 2500 matched to a rack raider however I find the tip on the raider to be to soft for prawnstars and hardbodied lures.

scottym: im using a berkley drop shot 4 the time been 7ft2" with 8pnd crystal and 14pnd leader. looking at upgrading rod to gloomis.
