Just some thoughts on when is the best times to catch jacks,from dark to mornings or afternoons to dark, and what have been the best part of the tides and moon phases.

mate dont pay attention to the moon with jacks got at all different phases its the tide you want chase ive had most success when the tide turns to run out caught fish from the top to the bottom of change and must be dark but had recent success early morn just when the sky starts changing colour 4:30 5 ish

Over here, Pilbara north and west, I fish Jacks in the late afternoon/ealy evening. Like shin25 says moon phase doesn't seem to matter with best success on a falling tide. Luv usin' little live poddies or fresh mullet/tuna strips.
