Quick flick this morning !!

Hey Ausfishers,
Was up bright and early this morning and what a top morning on the water it was. Ventured out to the seaway and worked a few plastics with the only result bitten off tails, didn,t notice the lads spinning the south wall doing any good either.

Went back into the Nerang and found a few flathead on the gulps, the highlight was a cast I put in to a splash at the edge of a sandbar which resulted in a well conditioned 72cm model which was released to fight another day.

Good Lizard there, were you dissappointed it was only 2 cm over? I think fishos get more thrill with the release than taking it home for a feed.

Sharkbait - dont know what was nipping off the tails mate, did throw a few 15gr gillies slugs around to but didn't get a hit from a Tailor or even a Pike !!!

Scalem - Wasn't dissappointed at releasing the big girl, there have been a lot around lately and its good to see the numbers appear to be on the up !!!

I do keep a few for a feed if they are 50 - 65cm, top tucker I reckon !!!
