Here are some pics of a boat we just built for an Ausfish member.........Camsharkman.
It's a 620 Maxi Half Cab with a full list of options.
It is powered with a 175 hp Suzuki Four Stroke.
Electronics are Koden Radar, Plotter and Sounder, Garmin Plotter, Navman Radios and Majestic Stereo.
As you can see it's painted all blue....... to be a bit different.
The pics will tell the story.
Cheers Col

Seabug - are you refering to the white suspended rod holders? (the weird shaped thing).
Must have heaps of rods, I count storage for 25, including the rod rackin the cabin. Lucky bugger. Sweet boat.

real nice guys,
is there a windscreen wiper?
Dantren,
They are balast tubes, at rest water floods in and helps the stability of the boat. Getting onto the plane they drain out.
Col another sweet looking boat where is this one going to live?

i don't know what tey're called but they are a form of ballast tube they fill up with water when the boat is stopped so the boat can sit lower and not roll so much and they can have a deeper v so the boat rides better

how much did the boat cost please very nice
Col_s

Gelsec......There are no wipers, it wouldn't be difficult if the owner found he wanted some fitted.
Rubba....have sent you a PM.
Tripplenipple.....now that's a different name :o ;D
Stability is great ,the water ballast system we use works a treat
(on our boats.;) )
Accolade........Sometimes they can take a little longer then they should !!::)
Cheers everyone

I am guessing the owner likes a certain colour?
what does she top out Col?
What pitch prop was the go? and
What is a good cruise speed at what revs and fuel use at that?
Sorry for all the questions but I just love the idea of a 175 zuke.

I think he may like blue :)
Never looked at the speed ,only ran it out quickly to check that it was getting the correct revs. It would be around 35-36 kts.
The prop's a 15.25" x 19" pitch. That varies on the actual boat ,we often go up in pitch.
Cruise speed at 4000rpms is around 20kts, once again this can change, depending on the boat, and around 17-20ltr/hr.
Waz, If you send me your details I can send a CD to you with all the info on it.
Cheers Col

Hi everybody, I've been off the air lately due to computor dramas! Thanks for the feedback.
I'd have to agree it's a great looking boat and I'm pretty damn happy with it. It was areal marathon effort from Col and the guys but we got there in the end which is main thing - it was no ordinary spec as you can see!!
The boat will be used off Gladstone but by years end will more than likely see it's action out of Port Stephens - Sydney(Browns!!!!) - South Coast.
Cost all up was approx $90k and about 10 months build time.
