Heading inland to a place west of Copmanhusrst to do some bass fishing. The owner of the property says to bring soft plastics for them. Can anyone shed some light on which ones i would be best to take. The Gorge can be very deep at some sections. I dont want to take a heap just a couple That people have had some sucess with.

G'day Jewie, don't use a lot of plastic myself but my mate does prety well with 'yellow core slider grubs' the secret seems to be to attatch them to a beetle spin blade after you have put them onto the head of your choice.Whatever plastic you go with deffinately take some beetle spin blades along.

I had some great success with berkely gulps (freshwater), more specifically Berkley® 4" GULP!® Minnow Grub:

way back years ago, my brother in alw lived on the bank of the Richmond river and told me they fish for Bass (perch to them) and I took some yellow twin tail, in about a 3inch size, he nearly fell over laughing at me, because if you do not use a 'floppy" you might as well stay home, so always up to a challende (and wanting to sit him on his bum) we went walking the bank for a while, my yellow "twister" outfished his lure by about 10 fish to 1 I still remind about that when I see him, so I guess in reply to your question, I would just take a small plastic container with a few "odds and ends" but would include at least some yellowy ones.

Paddle tails from 'atomic' and the sliders.
3 inch size work extremely well.

Different plastics & colours work at different locations. Nothing is better local advice so why not ask the property owner what he uses.
