Im full Of questions tonight hee hee..;).. :P
Hubbs caught this while fishing in the Estuary, not sure as Iv lined it up against some species of Trumpeter???
Looks like one but the dorsal fin is different to the others.
But it does look like a part of their family..

i call them shit head fish, i get them when trying to fish for whiting, they just dont go away and there everywhere.

Back Home , we used to call them Shittys, and if you put them up to you ear they sounded like a honking noise lol..

chucking a cast net in tallebudgera creek been getting a few of them. damn difficult to remove from the cast net

Wow, did not know they were such a pest, then again so are the trumperters. Dont think I'd like the task of dragging them from the cast net, they would probably damage them too??

They might be good bait for estuary cod, apart from that, put them back to live another day.
