Now I have few days off From my old job (after nearly 20 years service ) and going to my new job and starting there Monday
After getting my affairs in order day before I decided to go fishing yesterday in the bay target the mackerel again I tried spot :-X again went there just grinners so I decided to go to Harry's see what I could turn up there so with my floater rig the reel gave good sound going off with the one landed 45cm snapper and with in the hour landed another 3 snappers between 36 to 39cm then they when off the chew so I decided chase the whiting on one near by sand banks ended up with 15 nice winter whiting and just after landing my last one the water police show up ask for to inspected the life jackets and flares and also check my catch every thing was in order and I wish the water police a nice day :) and told them it was good to see they are out on the water and doing there job first I seen out during the week day for a while then the check crab pots one legal sandie I decided caught enough for the day I didn't ended up with any Macks that's fishing and I was home by lunchtime

Now you have the problem of deciding if its going to be Snapps or Whiting for dinner. ;D

It looks like a good Bay Snapper season may be on the cards

I came across a school of Macs just off green and had one on a placky outfit for a while

Cheers

I all always have Fun when I am on the water ;D
The majority people of Brisbane don't how lucky they are to have place like Moreton Bay and it Island's right on there doorstep to do outdoor activities
and I can't for when the cooler months coming later in the year so head over the south passage chase the bigger snappers and other fish species:-X
I ended up giving whole snapper and the sandie and heap of whiting fillets to my mother she doesn't like buying seafood from the shops because its import not Australian product after seen the current affairs stories on imported is turn off :o
