Hey Ausfishers,
Braved the crappy weather and hit the Nerang last night. Spent most of my time hiding under a bridge away from my usual haunts. The wind was outa control and there was enough rain to make things difficult but did ok considering. Bait was worms and poddy mullet.

Scored a feed of Whiting, Bream, one Moses and an Estuary Cod. Couldn't find a jack( didn't throw any lures due to the conditions) but got a few good hits on the mullet and one solid hook-up( Rodney cod ). Best Whiting went 35cm and the cod went 65cm.

Cringed home with a wet arse and fogged up specs after a couple of hours !!!

Am baking up the cod tonight !! Cant wait to get into them cheeks( not to mention the rest of him) !!!

Cheers !!!

Nice catch from the nerang. You can get some really big cod down there.

How heavy was yours?

Tinn, didn't weigh him mate !!

Yellahunter, Council chambers to start with but the wind was dragging me around to much, ended up hiding under the bridge on Bundall rd near Margerita's, had a hot bite there until the run in slowed and I bailed out.
